Next outing!
Galers! some suggestions for the next outing, can you all vote for one or two activities? lolTime: should be the coming week's weekend or the next weekend
we'll do one activity and go for dinner?
Activities:
1) Bowling @ Marina Square (Rates: $4.30 per game, $1.50 for shoe rental)
2) Pool/Snooker (I mean the one with cue balls in arcades) (Rates should be about $8-$10 bucks) I don't know any good pool areas though
3) Pool - as in those you can swim in. hahaha!
4) Kayaking or canoeing (kallang?)
5) Mahjong!! (anyone is willing to open his/her house and have more than one set of tiles? lol)
6) Rollerblading/cycling in east coast
7) Arcade - you spend at your own pace hahaha
8) Movies - I am Legend?
9) any more suggestions?

Galer's First Chalet
Galer Chalet:
our mini chalet bugis hut. Hut A!!! It's really small. with 2 double-decker beds. squeezy squeezy. i kept banging into the top pillar.
First pit-stop: Siloso Beach!!! Crazy us went to buy water guns!!! =P As usual, we played monkey, volleyball, soccer. It sure was a hot and sunny afternoon!Seng Kiat was our muscleman wannabe. His head seems a little too small for his humongous body! The pecs and abs aren't defined enough. lols. As always, the guys are always gaying in the photos. Forever! lols. no wonder we are called galer. (gay-lers)
muscleman attack!!!! "ARGH!!!!!!"it was really tiring to cover him with sand. Seriously. I wonder how the freshies are going to play the game " cover me quick" hahahahs. good luck!

Nest stop: Sentosa Sky ride and the Ludge! It cost $9 per person. i seriously think that getting an islander card is a worthy investment!

Motion in progress. lols. The sky ride was fun just a tad slow.The ludge was fun though!!! FUN!!!! But it's a little too short =(
My GLs and me. Changhan and Jing Jing. Fake freshie!!! and to think she was the first girl i made friends with! Talking to her is a breeze. hahahahs. her scope of vision is narrow because she always don't see me around school de. I've to scream at her a couple of times before she notices me =( SO SAD!!!and i've no idea why changhan has that constipated face!!! Funny guy!
We had subway for dinner. The bus driver is so nice. he kept telling us that was our stop by saying " next stop. butterflypark. subway restaurant. subway restaurant. this is your stop. enjoy your dinner" =)

Songs of the sea extravaganza. I've lost count of the number of time watching this le. But that day's song of the sea was magnificent as always. hahahahs. I guess the centre view is the best. Which is why i never get tired of watching it voer and over again! =) Still, this is a must watch!!!! Do bring your gfs along k?

This is hardwork. We tired to create a heart using only sparkler sticks but the heart turned out to be lobed-sided. In the end, i drew a heart on the sand first before we proceeded to place the sticks in place. It looks more like a heart right?Tada!!!! It's only for a short-while though.

Because the sparklers lasted for too short a duration, we decided to use candles next!!!! Guys or gals, we all loved our master piece gleaming on the sand when everywhere else was pitch dark.
Galer rocks! We are still as united! =) don't wish for anything to change. Stay united alright?

Our chalet was on tues. 25 Sept. Lantern festival!!! They brought lanterns and candles along too! Old school right? Been quite a long time since i last played with lanterns.
Jingjing and i were singing. And i've no idea what the rest are doing. We girls seem to be in a world of our own! hahahahas.

What's a Galer gathering without forfeits right? There you go. We had to punish him by asking him to bite onto 20 fish sticks because he kept eating. lols! It's a total torture. Updates on sentosa outing
Hi Galers!Your friendly GL reporting in again haha! =) By now I bet you all have received my smses, so here's an update of the details:
Dates: 25 and 26 September 2007, Tuesday and Wednesday of recess week
Time: Should be meeting at maybe 9am or 10am at harbour front control station (or if you all wanna have breakfast together we can meet earlier lol)

Sentosa outing + Cherry Boom concert
Hi Galers!!I'm sure you all received Yizhen's smses about the upcoming cherry boom campus concert in NTU and the free tickets available. =) If you wanna go, just sms Yizhen or me to confirm your attendance and we'll save tickets for you! Maybe we can make it an outing and go out for dinner/supper after that? =)

Sentosa chalet outing!!
Okay i've checked the rates and it will be $200 for two rooms (one night) in at Costa Sands Resort in Sentosa's Siloso beach. So it will mean like we can go on Monday morning then check out at Tuesday noon. =) or we can make it a 3 day 2 night thing but it will cost $400. =x So if we take the $200 thing it will be around $15 per person approx? Do confirm the dates that you are available asap with me so I can make reservations! =) During sep hols which is 24 sep to 28 sep (monday to friday). Thanxs!!

Informal galer outings
Hi people!!Thanks to joyce for posting up the pics, you all look great!!! =D yizhen you look so pretty! =) hope you all had tons of fun. sorry i couldn't turn up, but i'm here now to organise more outings haha!
After collating most of our timetables, I think we can set two lunch gatherings on wednesday, one at 10.30am and another at 12.30pm. you can stay on if you are very free haha! any other suggestions? =) If not, why not we try it out this coming week? Let's meet at canteen A for starters? maybe next time we can switch different canteens every week haha! I'll be there for the 10.30am slot and I'll try to hog a huge table so just contact me okay =)
Apart from that, as for the sentosa outing, I think it will be pretty hard to book on weekends because they are all quite full. I was thinking about the recess week at the end of september instead. Maybe monday, tuesday and wednesday? either 2 days - 1 night or 3 days - 2 nights. feel free to post suggestions! =)
P/S: anyone wants to catch Ratatouille next weekend?? =D either friday, sat or sunday.
okay i think i've confused most of you with so many details haha. see ya all soon!

CAC ball - GLITZ
CAC ball! Glitz! it was a night of fun. with memories embedded deep within. i guess everyone who went had fun!
our dear yizhen won Miss Popularity! "Eve" while chee hwee also from foc won the title of "Adam". Mr Popularity!!! FOC ROX!!! she's absolutely gorgeous that evening! =) actually i think her guy partner looks pretty good too! =)
After the ball, Galer went for some drinks at TCC!!! and we saw Curtis gf! whee!!!!
actually i don't know what to write lae. hahahahx. just a night to be remembered!

Hwee's timetable + nagging
Hello people, Hwee Hwee here.My timetable:
Mon: free from 430
Tues:free from 830 =(
Wed: free from 1030 to 530, then free from 730 =(
Thurs:free from 530
Fri: only lecture from 230 to 330
sat/sun: mummy's day!!!!! ahhaha, but should be alright to out.
I object to sentosa!!!! I've been there twice for the past few weeks.
Eh, we should start the "mugging group", i really have no mood to study. I've been busy getting lost and playing too much all these time. My tutorials are pilling up on week 2 of school! Help!!!!
Btw, just like to complain, i went down to nanyang audit today to buy the fujitsu laptop and guess what? It is OUT OF STOCK. The sales person says people coming queueing at 9 in the morning when the store only opens at 10. How am i going to get a lappy like that?! =( I got morning lesson everyday other than friday. Any kind soul wanna accompany go queue for the laptop on friday morning? PLEASE!

Hey Galers.I'll keep the ball rolling for the timetable thingy. Using the same format:
Mon: Not really free
Tue: Free from 1030 to 1430 and 1630 onwards
Wed: Very free from 1130 onwards
Thu: Free from 1430 onwards
Fri: Very free for the whole day except for certain weeks
Sat/Sun: generally should be free
Please do update the blog with your schedule. The log in name and password is on the first post.
Anyway, there's some indication that some are interested for a Sentosa outing something soon. Any takers?
